Penelope Jordan is a British textile artist based in Cheltenham, creating three-dimensional textile art inspired by the patterns, structures and forms found in nature.

Working with fabric, she uses layering, cutting, folding, manipulation and stitching to create intricate sculptural pieces. Her work explores repetition, movement, texture and organic growth, transforming familiar natural forms into tactile works of art.

After a decade away from her practice, Penelope returned to making in 2026 with a renewed focus on her fascination with the natural world. She studied Multi Media Textiles at Loughborough University and has exhibited her work in the UK and internationally. See Exhibitions page for more details.
